James Greenwood is a solicitor with over twenty years’ experience working in-house at organisations such as Skipton Building Society, Halifax Bank of Scotland, Lloyds, Bradford and Bingley, Northern Rock and Freemans.  He is currently in the in-house Legal team at the Financial Conduct Authority advising on matters relating to consumer credit, debt and mortgages.

James has considerable experience in advising boards in how to design products and services which deliver good outcomes to customers, and also in advising operations teams on how to put things right when they have gone wrong.  He is passionate about making sure that financial services work well for everyone.
